Behind the Author

Hey There! My name is Samantha Jayne Grubey. I am a self-published author.

So I would I say my writing journey actually started when I was fourteen or fifteen. I found a website called Wattpad and began to read and it wasn't a short jump until I began to write. My first story was terrible. Really Bad. Lucky for me I didn't actually care and carried on writing and with each terrible story I started to get better and my story and writing became better too.

I never saw being a published author in my future until a friend said it, and I was like yes I can do it. I can become a published author. So whilst I was at college and then university I continued to write and hone my craft.

On the 5th April 2016 I made a bet with a friend that in five years I would be published. Almost six years laters and we are finally there and at that point.

When I'm not writing I'm at my full-time job which is a deputy manager at a nursery. 

​

In my rare free time I spend my time playing Sims or colouring, and of course the obvious hobby reading.
